SSP Storms Ago-Iwoye

The Afro Juju creator, Akanbi Oluwashina Peters, will tomorrow storm the ancient city of Ago-Iwoye,Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, to honour Mrs Modupe Oke, the wife of the Chairman, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Apostle Oluruntoba Oke.

The performance will be at the reception following the burial same day of Mrs Oke’s mother, Chief Florence Adeyinka Ogundipe.

SSP, as he is called by friends and admirers, is said to be very passionate about the show because of his closeness to the Oke family and the late Adeyinka Ogundipe.

To this end he (SSP) is said to be holding rehearsals with his band members so as to put up a scintillating performance at the reception scheduled for Imosoosi Methodist Primary School, Ago-Iwoye.

Speaking with P.M.Entertainment after a rehearsal at his private studio in his Iju, Lagos home, the Afro Juju creator said: “The show is important to me because I was very close to Dupe’s mum and the best thing to do is to honour the woman who I always called my mum with a spectacular show.”
