Fan Condemns Yekini’s Family

A football fan and an admirer of the late soccer hero, Rashidi Yekini, Chief Augustine Bola Adegunloye has condemned the family of the former African Footballer of the year, alleging tht they were responsible for his untimely death.

Speaking with P.M.Sports at his Bucknor Estate, Ejigbo residence, Adegunloye, who is a frontline spiritualist and seer, said Rashidi Yekini’s family did not like him.

Instead, they envied him and were looking for his downfall.

He said: “The football star’s spiritual problem started long ago. All the ladies that came his way were fraudulent. His problem exacerbated since he had no stable home. Each lady he met bore him a daughter.”

He noted that Yekini should not have settled down at Ibadan after his football career. He opined that if he had stayed in Lagos or overseas, perhaps he would have had a better post retirement life.

He added that Yekini was not well educated and that compounded his problems, coupled with his family’s lack of love for him.

He observed that the right level of education would have helped him on the right steps at the right time.

Adegunloye however warned Yekini’s family not to inherit more into his Ibadan residence, ‘because it will be disastrous to do so.’
