Fashola For Lagos Principal’s Cup Final

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola is among the special guests of honour that will grace the final of GTBank Lagos Principal’s Cup on Saturday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The final of the female category of the school sports soccer championship will be between CMS Senior Secondary School, Bariga, and Kuje Senior Secondary School, Amuwo-Odofin, while Sango Senior Secondary School, Agege, and Dairy Farm Secondary School, Agege, will slug it out in the male category.

Public Relation Officer of the state’s Ministry of Education, Lanre Bajulaye, told P.M. Sports that Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, and other members of the state’s Executive Council will also grace the final ceremony on Saturday.

Bajulaye said the final ceremony will be colourful and memorable as the state is celebrating the 45th anniversary of its creation.

“We want the final ceremony to be colourful as Lagos is celebrating its 45th anniversary. I am expecting full house and high standard of display by the two finalists both in male and female category,” he said.

The boys’ and girls’ categories of the last edition were won by Egan Senior Secondary School and Alakoto Senior Secondary School respectively. Both schools received N1million each for their victories.
