3-Storey Building Collapses In Lagos

A three-storey building reportedly collapsed today in Anikantamo area of Lagos Island near Adeniji Adele, southwest Nigeria.

Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, have arrived the scene and there are reports that some of the trapped occupants of the building may have died.

NEMA spokesman, Yushau Shuaibu, confirmed the incident, adding that a woman was rescued from the rubble alive.
Residents of the area said more victims are still trapped in the rubble of the collapsed building.
