Coaches Applaud Declawed D’Tigers

Nigeria Basketball coaches have applauded the performance of D’Tigers despite their ouster in the first round of the ongoing London 2012 Olympic Games.

Head coach of current Nigeria Basketball Premier League champions, Royal Hoopers Club of Port Harcourt, Ogor Odaudu,  said D’Tigers  deserve an applause for their exploits in London.

He gave them kudos for qualifying for the championship for the first time in the country’s history and defeating African champions Tunisia in their first match.

Dodan Warriors coach, Adeka Daudu, who was part of those that gave the team a little chance to qualify, said D’Tigers deserve a heroic welcome when they arrive in Nigeria from London. He added that with more time together, the team would be hard nuts to crack in the future.
