Rocky Stars Coach Warns Kirikiri Boys
Chief Coach of Rocky Stars Football Academy of Okota, Samson Ogunsanya has told Kirikiri Stars to prepare for tough game when both teams clash in the opening match of U-15 Henry Ajomale Football Competition.
The competition, which features 32 teams, will begin on Saturday at the Oke Afa Jakande Estate playground, Ejigbo.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Ogunsanya boasted that his players are in high spirits and ready to take their opponents to the cleaners.
Ogunsanya, popularly called Sir Rocky, boasted that his team are looking beyond the opening game against the Kirikiri Stars, adding that his target is to win the cup.
“I have confidence in the ability of our team. We are fully prepared for this competition, so we are going for our first victory on Saturday,” he said.
Captain of Rocky Stars, Abayomi Egundupe, said he and his teammates could not afford to lose the opening match, boasting that no team would stop them from winning the trophy.
“My teammates and I are determined to win the opening match. Our first game is very crucial and we will play hard to secure the three points at stake,” he said.
Match Coordinator, Ganiu Aliu, said the necessary logistics have been put in place to organising a successful tourney.
