Yaboskan Drops Remixed Satisfaction

African Kennery Lady, Queen Rosaline Iyabode popularly known as Yaboskan recently released her remixed fifth album dubbed Satisfaction (Itelorun) into the Nigeria’s music market.

Satisfaction, a follow-up to Iyawo No Rival, was earlier released in 2007 on the stable of Fortune International Records, Rhodes Island, USA.

The versatile highlife musician told P.M.NEWSEntertainment that five record companies are distributing the five-track vinyl. They include King Dejimania Ventures, Martins Records and Video, Toyin Up T. Ventures, Tamart Music and Lasco Doja Recording Studio.

Tracks in the album are Aseni Nse Rare, Satisfaction, the title track, Omo Africa Ejeka Rele, Iya Ni Wura and Allluyah Mo Yege.

The actress and cosmetologist turned hi-life musician hails from Ilawe Ekiti, Ekiti state, Southwest Nigeria and began a career in music in 1980 after featuring in Moses Olaiya’s (Baba Sala) Orun Mooru as Omo Ayo.

She debuted in 1980 shortly after her stint with Baba Sala when she released The Beauty of A Woman, a celebration of womanhood, followed by another successful hit titled Yaboskan, advising all against contracting AIDS.

Iyabo added that she has seven albums to her credit, including Keske Borak and Yabis Night in London dropped on the stable of NASA Promotions, London in 2010. She said the late Dr Orlando Owoh, who gave her the title First African Kennery Lady, was her role model.
