OBJ’s Doctor Dies

One of the personal physicians of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Durosola Habeeb Omotolani is dead, aged 63 years.

P.M.NEWS learn that Omotolani died on Sunday at the University of Lagos Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Idi Araba, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

He was buried on Sunday in his house at Agege, Lagos.

The Owu, Abeokuta-born medical practitioner was the owner of popular Omotolani Medical Centre at Alfa Nla Street, Agege.

Dr. Omotolani once contested for a seat in the House of Representatives under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and lost.

He later defected to the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN. He was an active member of ACN until his death.

He is survived by two wives and many children.

It was gathered that Obasanjo sent an aide to pay the family of the deceased a condolence visit yesterday at his Alfa Nla, Agege residence.
