Ondo election: PDP agent arrested over money

Soldiers on election duty in Ondo town, in Ondo Central Senatorial district have arrested a middle aged man, Samuel Oni, who was alleged to be distributing money to security agents.
Oni, who claimed to be an agent to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was arrested at Jolaco Filling Station behind Akure Garage with money, Polling Agents Handbook and a list of names.
He denied that he was distributing money to security agents to influence the outcome of the election. Rather, he explained the money was feeding allowance meant for the party’s agents.
He was whisked away in a Hilux pick-up with registration number MA 929B 0S.
