Mimiano Eyes Yoruba Heritage Awards

Actress Memunat Yunusa, known as Mimiano, has been nominated for this year’s Yoruba Heritage Awards in the Best Upcoming Actress category.

Memunat, who became popular after she produced the movie Mimiano started acting in 2000 and has produced several movies.

She was once a makeup artist before venturing into full time acting. The Lagos State University (LASU) Mass Communication student said winning the Yoruba Heritage Awards will be a dream come true, adding that there are plans in the offing to churn out better flicks .

The award will hold in London on 7 December, 2012.

The sexy actress, who was born into a family of five in Kogi State,  has featured in films such as Faari, Kowope Alajo, Sekesajo, while she also produced Ife Omo, Kobamajewo, Karounwi and Mimiano.
