Actress Halima Abubakar has joined the growing list of female celebrities shaving off their hair. The Kogi State-born actress arrested considerable attention when she walked into the TBS Auditorium, Lagos, venue of the recently held Best of Nollywood Awards.

Whispers overheard Lancelot Imasuen, movie director, asking her why she decided on her new look. Halima’s response was that she is wearing it for an unspecified noble cause.
