Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Contract: We Are Not Aware —Bi-Courtney

Bi-Courtney Highway Services Ltd, concessionaire of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway has disclosed that it has not been formally informed of government’s decision to cancel its contract to rebuild the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

In an advertisement placed in some newspapers today, the management of the company said it was yet to be formally informed of government action terminating concession on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The Minister of Works, Architect Mike Onolememen on 19 November announced the termination of the concession on the expressway.

Bi-Courtney however, thanked all parties to the transaction to rebuild the expressway.

“We have no doubt that the issues would be resolved in a manner that would rekindle the Nigerian spirit of enterprise, scholarship, courage and consistency.
