Sports Festival: Yabatech Not ready

The Yaba Sports Complex, one of the venues hosting some of the events of the ongoing 18th National Sports Festival is not ready for the games, P.M.News can reveal.

Checks by our correspondent on Monday revealed that the goal post of the football field is yet to be fixed, while lining of the pitch has not commenced as at the time of filing this report.

Workers are still trying to trim the overgrown playing field.

The tartan tracks were still littered with rubbish, while the goal post of the handball court was being fixed.

Some of the workers on duty  who spoke on anonymity said the facilities are not ready as scheduled because fund was not released to complete the work.
