Yero Announces Burial Plans For Yakowa

New Kaduna governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has formally announced burial arrangements for the late Kaduna governor, Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa who died on Saturday 15 in a Navy helicopter crash at Nembe, Bayelsa state.

According to a statement signed by Yero and made available to P.M.NEWS, a valedictory executive council meeting in honour of the late governor would be held at the government house today by 10am . A wake keep will also hold at Government House, Kaduna at 3p.m.

According to the statement, the corpse of Yakowa will leave Saint Gerard Catholic Hospital, Kaduna by 7a.m tomorrow for Fadan Kagoma, hometown of the late governor. The burial/funeral mass will hold at Saint Paul Catholic Church, Fadan Kagoma, Jema’a a Local Government Area by 11a.m

However, P.M.NEWS gathered once the governor is buried tomorrow, the new governor who has been holding series of meetings on the choice of the deputy governor of the state, might send the name of his choice to the state assembly on Friday for approval.

The suggested names on the list from information gathered are Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, Yohanna Allahmagani, Hassan Hyat, Nuhu Wyah, Jacob Mark and Aboki Galadima and Charity Shekari.
