‘The Pastors’ For Premiere

The Spain chapter of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, under the chairmanship of Comrade Lamptay Ikepounwosa, is set to premiere its first Nollywood movie, The Pastors.

The film was produced in association with Lamp Images Production. The premiere, planned to hold across Europe, is expected to start in Madrid this February.

Two other productions, Pure De Patata and Set Time are underway. According to Lamptay, The Pastors promises to be an effective launch pad for many Nollywood actors. He added that Nollywood’s popularity across the globe has been boosted by the establishment of an AGN chapter in Spain.

Meanwhile, the AGN in Spain has embarked on a number of programmes, including the establishment of a web data base for its members and seminars for young and aspiring actors.
