Unveiling Hefty Drumz, Production Wizard

Olufemi Babs Oluwatosin a.k.a Hefty DRUMZ, a native of Ekiti State, has paid his dues. He once worked under the award-winning music producer, Puffy Tee (the producer of Olu Maintain’s Yahoozee), mastering the art of production.

But at present, the young and talented dude is the registered owner of Hefty Drumz Productions, a music production company. And he is now a voice to reckon with.

Blessed to the Babasola family, Babs has little or no music background. He studied Computer Science at the University of Abuja. But as he told this medium,“ I am passionate about producing good music”.

He has worked with manyA-list artistes in the industry such as Ay.com, Ice-Prince, L.k.t.

He recently handled the production for yet to be released Tuface Idibia’s song. His production prowess has also extended to other West Africa countries where he has done production for Ground Empire, Becca and  Asante- all in Ghana.

Hefty Drumz’s distinct style on different genres of music has always been his selling point. The choice of his name “Hefty Drumz” indicates his heavy and ground breaking kinds of percussion,which he specially does with heavy kicks.

He noted that he has got lots to offer the music industry, particularly taking a definitive role in music production.
