Fashola Appoints 6 New Judges

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola has approved the appointment of six new High Court Judges for the state judiciary.

A statement by Public Relations officer of the Lagos State Judicial, Mrs Grace Alo said the Governor’s approval was sequel to the recommendation of the National Judicial Commission.

The new judges are Ms Folashade Bankole-Oki, Mr Michael Akintunde Savage, Mrs Oyindamola Ogala, Mr. Ganiyu Safari, Mrs Sedotan Ogunsanya and Mr. Wasiu Animasahun.

The Judges will be sworn in on tueday, 28 May, 2013.

The new appointment brings to 56  the number of judges in the state.
