“The Rush” a festival of music and comedy, put together by 2 Flame Entertainment and supported by Don Lulu Filmz was held at De-Latinos Event Place, Umuahia, and it lived up to its billing as some of Nigeria’s top acts displayed on stage a burst of energy.

It was a window for award-winning Mavin Records’ singing acts Tiwa Savage and D’Prince, to bring their world class act to the Abia crowd.

Rap sensation, Ruggedman, SHEYMAN and DJ Kentucky combined well with Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu that hosted the show to the admiration of the audience.

Other artistes that added to the fun-filled night were Mora-chi of the ‘Hapu ya Like Dat fame’ and lots of upcoming comedians who gave a good account of themselves as they cracked up the house with hilarious jokes.

Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), event organiser, while expressing satisfaction with the success of the maiden edition of the show said: “The epoch-making concert is aimed at re-branding the South-East and South-South as choice destination for visitors and business, while making it a haven for entertainers.”

He said, the night was warm and welcoming, and devoid of any incident as the peace prevalent in the state left no one in doubt that Abia and indeed the South-East are ready for a show of such magnitude in the future.
