In Pictures: Jonathan in charm offensive to Kano, South West

In one day, President Goodluck Jonathan, hopped from one major Nigerian city to the other, certainly in search of political support.

All the cities he visited today lie in the opposition APC stronghold: Kano, Oyo in Oyo state, Ile-Ife in the State of Osun and Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital

In all the visits, President Jonathan discussed with the traditional rulers. As political observers said, this is surely a charm offensive by Jonathan, ahead of his formal declaration to contest a second term as Nigeria’s President.
