Britain pledges to aid Nigeria’s rescue bid for abducted schoolgirls
Britain has promised to deploy intelligence gathering resources to support Nigeria’s bid to rescue more than 200 schoolgirls captured by Boko Haram gunmen 14 April, from Chibok Girls Secondary School in Borno state.
British Prime Minister, David Cameron gave the commitment Wednesday, following a request by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Their discussion followed another one between President Jonathan and visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang of China.
Premier Li Keqiang promised that his country will make any useful information acquired by its satellites and intelligence services available to Nigeria’s security agencies.
Mr. Keqiang assured the President that China will support Nigeria’s fight against terrorism in every possible way, including the training of military personnel for anti-insurgency operations.
