PDP assures Edo students of bursary/scholarship

The Edo Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has assured students in the State of access to bursary and scholarship if voted back to power.
The Chairman of the PDP in the state, Chief Dan Orbih, made the promise in Ekpoma on Thursday during the party’s sensitisation tour of local government areas.
He said Edo was the only state in the south where students had been denied access to bursary and scholarship in spite of the resources accruing to it.
Orbih said Edo students were known for their intelligence and academic prowess and deserved to be encouraged and compensated.
He said the PDP would restore the era of bursary and scholarship in the state.
The PDP chief also told commercial motorcyclists not to despair, adding that a PDP government would allow them to carry on their legitimate business without any harassment or molestation.
Orbih said the PDP was set to win APC members to its fold.
He commended the PDP loyalists for their support, saying this had yielded dividends of democracy.
