Super Falcons prepares for AWC qualifier
The Super Falcons will leave for Kaduna on Wednesday morning to continue their preparations for the second leg tie of the 2014 African Women Championship (AWC) qualifier against Rwanda.
The national senior women football team’s Media Officer, Gracious Akujobi, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.

The Falcons will host their Rwandese counterparts at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Saturday 7 June.
Nigeria have who won the AWC six times in the past eight editions and hold a 4-1 advantage from the away first-leg game in Gisenyi about a week ago.
They will qualify for the 9th AWC if they avoid a heavy defeat against the She Amavubi of Rwanda.
Akujobi quoted the team’s Administrator, Ruth David, said the team will train at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium pitch before the game.
Team coach Edwin Okon said the Falcons would train hard to get used to the stadium.
“This is because they have been training on an astro turf in Abuja in the past two months,” Okon said.
“We won’t be over-confident when we play them. We will not be complacent,” he said.
