DJ Jimmy Jatt Honoured At Industry Nite

Wednesday 1 October will go down in the history books of Nigeria’s weekly networking music event, Industry Nite as legendary DJ, Jimmy Jatt was hosted to an evening of unadulterated entertainment.

As part of the celebrations marking Nigeria’s 54 independence and Jimmy’s 25 years in the music industry, the organisers of the nite ensured that no stone was left unturned to ensure the evening was one worth remembering.

As guests made their way to the venue of the event they were treated to the best of canapes and cocktails provided by Smirnoff vodka.

The night also witnessed a large turnout of stakeholders in the entertainment industry, music acts, celebrities, actors, radio personalities and fans alike to mention a few, who came out in their numbers  to celebrate with the legend.

Regarded as one of the pioneers of the business of deejaying in Nigeria, Jimmy has proceeded to mentor and nurture some of Nigerians leading DJs such as Dj Waxxy, Dj Humility, Dj Tony Blaise amongst many.

His chart topping debut album “The Definition” featured the hit single “Stylee” which had 2face Idibia, Mode 9 and Elajoe on it.

His recently released sophomore “The Industry”, has over 50 artistes making appearances on it. The album has gone on to attain number one status for most downloads on iTunes barely two weeks after its launch.

The event was hosted by Beat FM On air personality Jimmie, while music on the night was provided by Dj Spinall.
