No American involved in Yola plane crash

The United States Embassy in Nigeria said on Tuesday that contrary to media reports, there was no American involved in the Yola helicopter crash that occurred on Monday.

The ‎US also denied allegations that it has let Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.

“The United States maintains a robust counter terrorism and dynamic bilateral relationship with the Government of Nigeria.

“We remain committed in our support to Nigeria’s efforts to stop the abhorrent actions of Boko Haram and associated terrorist groups,” the Mission said in a statement.
