Boko Haram threats: Kaduna residents urged to be extra-vigilant

The Coordinator of Kaduna State security agency, popularly known as Operation Yaki, Colonel Yakubu Yusuf today warned residents of the state to be on the watch out for Boko Haram new attack tactics in public places during the forthcoming Sallah celebration.

Yusuf said his agency has intelligence report on the plans by the deadly militants to use children and young girls wearing hijabs and also animals .

He also warned about the plans of some miscreants popularly known as “Sara Suka” or “Masu Shara” to unleash terror in Kaduna metropolis and its environs during the sallah festivities .

He therefore asked people in the State to be extra vigilant and report any suspicious persons to the security agencies immediately for prompt action

Colonel Yakubu urged security agencies to ensure adequate deployment of operatives at all Worship Centres, Parks, Recreational Centres and connecting highways .
