PICTURES: The new faces of Boko Haram

On Friday, 2 October, two explosions went off in the suburbs of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital killing at least 15 persons.

Two days after, a group of Boko Haram fighters who have sworn allegiance to the Islamic State released a statement claiming responsibility for the bombings.
