Late Ogun RTEAN chairman buried

The Ogun state chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, Alhaji Mugisu Akinpelu, who died Friday afternoon has been buried.

Akinpelu was buried Saturday according to Islamic rites at his residence in Ota, Ogun state.

Our correspondent reliably gathered from a close family source that the deceased passed on after battling with undisclosed ailment.

Akinpelu was recently appointed as the Chairman of the 30-man committee set up by the state government after lifting the suspension on the union.

According to one of his aides, he would have clocked 60 years on 31 October.
