Two collapse as Lagos Marathon gets underway

Lagos City Marathon which commenced around 7:30am on Saturday is still underway.

The much anticipated marathon event has recorded two casualties so far as the athletes collapsed along the way.

One athlete collapsed around Onipanu and another on Third Mainland Bridge.

As at the time of filing this report, many marathoners are crying for water as they are dehydrated.

The male and female winners are going to take home 50,000 dollars each.
