Breaking: APC leads PDP by 5, 616 votes, supporters of PDP protest

Results from nine local governments have so far been declared. APC has 142, 424 votes, against PDP’s 136,799 votes. Announcement of results is expected to resume in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, supporters of PDP have taken to the streets in Benin to protest the results declared so far by INEC. The PDP supporters want INEC to suspend the collation of results from Esan North and Esan West and some other local governments.
