Police nab fake currency suspects

The culprits, Andrew Ogah, Ozoemena Okeke and Helen Ozoemena Okeke (f) were arrested with fake N500 and N1000 notes at a new generation bank.

Investigation is ongoing at the Division.

Confirming the arrest, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Omoni Nnamdi said, “the Commissioner of Police, Francis M. Odesanya, advises the public to be careful with the antics of these criminals whose stock in trade is to defraud unsuspecting customers and clients. They should also watch out for fake currencies in circulation, especially within the Mgbuoba Area of Port Harcourt.”
