Eagles Observe Rest Day

Coach, Lars Lagerback has declared today as a rest day for the Super Eagles

Though they had a serious training session yesterday, Lagerback wants them to rest today to enable them to prepare for series of training sessions which starts tomorrow ahead of their second group game against Greece on Thursday, 17 June.

P.M.Sports gathered here in Richard Bay, Durban that Largerback has warned the Eagles that he won’t hesitate to drop any player that fails to live up to expectations as the business is getting serious after Nigeria were beaten 0-1 by Argentina on Saturday.

Media Officer of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Demola Olajire, confirmed this development to P.M.Sports, saying that it was the directive of the coach for the Eagles to rest today.
