Wizkid, Wole Soyinka Attend Felabration Final Day

To conclude Felabration 2017 which held at the Afrika Shrine for 7 days in celebration of it's 20th anniversary, Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode paid a visit to the shrine on Sunday evening after unveiling Fela's statute at the Allen roundabout in Ikeja, An act which would forever remain in the heart of Fela Anikulapo Kuti's family and well wishers. Also one of Nigeria's lover of art, professor Wole Soyinka graced the event.

To conclude Felabration 2017 which held at the Afrika Shrine for seven days in celebration of its 20th anniversary, Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode paid a visit to the Afrikan shrine on Sunday evening after unveiling Fela’s statute at the Allen roundabout in Ikeja.
Professor Wole Soyinka, Nobel laureate and a cousin of Fela also graced the event.
Fans who were overwhelmed to see Professor Soyinka at the Afrikan Shrine could not contain their joy as he practically had to beg for silence from the crowd.
Wole Soyinka urged the youth to hold unto the ideals Fela stood for by keeping his memory alive since they are all children of the late legend.
Artistes who performed at the grand finale of Felabration include: Wizkid, Burnaboy, Ycee, Sauti Sol, Dotman, Lagbaja, Ayuba, Femi Kuti as well as others.
Wizkid lived up to his superstar billing by his star performance. His fans were so excited that they chorused his songs at every turn. The star boy performed songs like Come closer, Daddy Yo, Ojuelegba amongst others.
