2017 MTV Europe Awards: Davido wins Best African Act

Popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, a.k.a. Davido has won the Best African Act award at the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards in London.

Davido beats South Africa’s Babes Wodumo & Nasty C, Angola’s C4 Pedro, Kenya’s Nyashinksi and others to win the award.

To celebrate his success, Davido posted his picture on Instagram with the caption: “I’M ON FiAAAAAAA!! Thank you everybody. THIS IS FOR YOU MOM! #30BG.”
