The Agbado Chapter of Ajowa Tipper Owners and Drivers Association of Nigeria has appealed to the Federal Government to fix the epileptic power supply in the country.
Its Chairman, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Tomori, made the appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Agbado on Monday.
He said that poor power supply had been a major challenge to activities of his members.
“The Federal Government should address the power supply situation in the country because it is affecting us; there is the need to repair our vehicles by welders.
“The inability to quickly repair our vehicles is affecting us from discharging our responsibilities at home,’’ he said.
Tomori said that provision of basic infrastructure like good roads, stable power supply and good medical services should be part of dividends of democracy.
He said that these amenities would make the people to have a sense of belonging and contribute to national development.
