Olufemi Oluwajobi, formerly Egunjobi, a popular presenter with Fresh FM, owned by a Nigerian popular gospel singer and music producer, Yinka Ayefele, lost his life on December 31, 2017.

Oluwajobi, popularly called Radio MD (Music Dynamite), who hailed from Okeho in Oyo State was hit by a hit and run driver at Challenge Area of Ibadan where he was waiting for a commercial vehicle that would take him to the church.

According to information gathered, Oluwajobi. who clocked 32 on December 22, 2017, left Fresh FM after presenting a programme titled “Ale Erebe” and was on his way to church for a cross over night programme to usher in the New Year when he was mauled down by his killer.

It was gathered that after the incidence, he was rushed to the General Hospital, Ring Road but was unattended to for about an hour as attempts were made to to turn on the generating set in the hospital which did not work. He was then taken to the University Teaching Hospital, UCH, where he gave up the ghost at the entrance.

He was buried today at Sango-Cemetery amidst tears and wailings by family, professional colleagues, friends and well wishers who thronged the cemetery.

His boss, Ayefele, who betrayed his emotion, also attended the funeral.

He was survived by his parents, wife and child.

Oluwajobi worked as a radio presenter at different radio stations including: Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS FM, now Oluyole FM, Star FM 91.5 and Space FM 90.1.

He attended Loyola College, Ibadan for his secondary school education and graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, where he studied Statistics.
