Lagosians Ready To Give Ambode 3 Million Votes For Good Governance – Group

A group operating under the aegis of Itesiwaju Ipilenko Eko Vanguard at the weekend said it has taken cursory look at the achievements of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode in office and felt the pulse of the residents, saying they have commenced mobilization to give him a minimum of three million votes in the 2019 general election.

A group operating under the aegis of Itesiwaju Ipilenko Eko Vanguard at the weekend said it has taken cursory look at the achievements of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode in office and felt the pulse of the residents, saying they have commenced mobilization to give him a minimum of three million votes in the 2019 general election.

The group said the current mobilization spearheaded by Hon Seyi Bamigbade , the General Coordinator and Hon Olusegun Olulade, the Chairman Apex Forum of the group and Honourable member representing Epe division in the Lagos State House of Assembly is aimed at breaking electoral record in the state.

Speaking when the group inaugurated the United Christian Family Initiative (U.C.F.I) chapter at the weekend in Oshodi Local Government secretariat, Legislative Hall in Lagos Bamigbade who received people that decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other Ogranisiations to the fold urged them to support good governance.

While officially inaugurating the United Christian Family Initiative (UCFI) Hon. Segun Olulade said the UCFI have become a part and parcel of the Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard.

He highlighted some of the landmark projects of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode that endeared him to the residents , saying the achievements were recorded across all the five divisions of the state.

Olulade counseled the peoples about the advantages of collecting their voter’s card on time, saying it will help them to return Governor Ambode for the second term.

Also speaking, Commissioner 1 , Lagos State Civil Service Commission Pastor Israel Alagbe thanked Hon Segun Olulade and Hon Seyi Bamigbade for their efforts in mobilizing more votes for Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode,

He said when the national leader of APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu presented the Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to the party All Progressive Congress there were a lot of discordant tunes among the party leaders, given his background as a technocrat.

According to him, part of their worry then was how he will cope and understand the terrain, saying those leaders are now the ones rooting for him now to come back.

Alagbe said when he was appointed as a Executive Secretary in the year 2002-2003 at Oshodi/Isolo Local Government there was a lot of insecurity in the various Wards that constitutes the area, saying the present administration has proven its worth by working assiduously to confront the menace and succeeded in chasing the criminals away.
