A total of 36 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports in Lagos State from March 20 to April 5 as against the 32 expected on Monday.

A total of 36 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports in Lagos State from March 20 to April 5 as against the 32 expected on Monday.

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication — “Shipping Position”
in Lagos on Tuesday.

It noted that 12 of the expected 36 ships would sail in with petrol.

The NPA publication added that the remaining 24 ships contained bulk wheat, fertiliser, butane, bulk sugar, aviation fuel, frozen fish, empty containers, general cargo and containers laden with other goods.

The document indicated that 10 ships had arrived the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser and petrol.
