Petroleum products, food and other goods are some of the items expected to arrive in the country through the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

The ships bearing the items are expected to arrive between Wednesday and June 10, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

A total of eight of the expected 33 ships will sail in with petrol.

The NPA said the remaining 25 ships contained buckwheat, gypsum, aviation fuel, diesel, fertiliser, base oil, frozen fish, salt, empty containers and containers laden with goods.

Thirteen of ships had arrived the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, container, buckwheat and petrol.
