Eid-el-Fitr: NSCDC deploys 1,200 officers to Kwara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ilorin, said it has deployed 1,200 officers to provide security during the Sallah celebration in Kwara.

Mr Adeyinka Ayinla, State Commandant, NSCDC, Kwara command, made the disclosure on Thursday in Ilorin.

“The 1,200 corps will collaborate with other security agencies in the state to provide adequate security to Kwarans during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

“Our officers have been appropriately deployed to all the areas in the state to check all forms of security breaches,” he said.

The commandant urged the general public to go about their normal engagements without fear of security breakdown.

Ayinla also wished all the Muslim faithful across the state a happy and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
