The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 31 ships to bring petroleum products, food and other goods from Thursday to July 30 at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

No fewer than five of the 31 ships will sail in with petrol while one ship will bring bulk gas.

The other 25 ships are carrying buckwheat, base oil and containers carrying different goods, including general cargo, frozen fish, bulk sugar, bulk fertiliser and steel.

According to the NPA, 13 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, soya beans, Iris, aviation fuel, diesel, bulk gas and petrol.
