Do something different.
Learn something new everyday no matter how small.
Every little bit counts and adds up to something.

Surround yourself with people that challenge you. People that help you to focus on the bigger picture.
Instead of viewing someone else as competition, why don’t you learn from them instead?! And by the way, learning from someone and copying them are two totally different things.
