The Ekiti Central Senatorial District candidate on the platform of PDP, Obafemi Adewale, commended the conduct of the polls and the turnout of voters.
He said that there was a little scuffle earlier in the day, but added that the situation was promptly brought under control by security agencies.
Hon. Ayodele Oladimeji, a PDP candidate and current member representing Ado/Irepodun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency of Ekiti, also said the process had been peaceful in Igede-Ekiti.
He also lauded INEC for doing a great job so far.
