Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has been declared winner of the Ogun Central Senatorial election held on Saturday.

In the result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s, INEC, Returning Officer, Prof. Ayinde Akanbi, at the Centenary Hall Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Amosun polled 88,110 votes to defeat his closest rival, Titi Oseni-Gomez of the ADC, who polled 37,101 votes.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s candidate, Apostle Abayomi Sanyaolu came third with 33,276 votes while the APM scored 10,039 votes and ADP, 6,510.

Amosun won in all six Local Governments that made up Ogun Central Senatorial District.
