Lagos Rugby League: Addax Grab 2nd Position

Addax Rugby Footbll Club are on the second position in  the 2010 Lagos Rugby Union League  with 35 points and a game at hand.

Addax defeated Lagos Rugby Football Club 7-0 to grab the second slot in an encounter watched  by a capacity crowd at the National Institute For Sports Football pitch of the National  Stadium, Surulere, Lagos,  while defending champions,Cowrie Rugby Football Club humbled  Gosar Rugby Football to top the table.

Addax’s victory sent their fans into wild celebration. They were happy to finish second  on  the league table.

The second match of the day saw the Police Machine Rugby team defeating Young Lions Rugby  Football Club 7-0

Coordinator of the league, Ntiense Williams, expressed satisfaction over the standard of the  competition and promised a better league next season.
