Daniel, Kuye In 5-Hour Meeting
The Governor of Ogun State, South West, Nigeria, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Minister for Commerce and Industry, Senator Jubril Martins-Kuye met for over five hours behind closed doors over the lingering political crisis in the state.

P.M.NEWS authoritatively gathered that the meeting of the two warring political leaders was in conformity with the 48 hours ultimatum given by President Goodluck Jonathan last Wednesday that they should both find a lasting solution to the political crisis in the state.
It was gathered that Governor Daniel and Senator Kuye representing the two major camps in the state’s ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) agreed to hold the meeting in the governor’s residence in Abuja.
P.M.NEWS gathered that the meeting, which was held on Thursday night lasted for about five hours between the two of them. They rose from the meeting in the early hours of Friday.
Both of them were said to have briefed their supporters about the outcome of the meeting which they described as “very successfulâ€, with interests of both parties taken into consideration.
A source close to one of them, however, revealed to P.M.NEWS that the agreement betweenDaniel and Kuye at the meeting may not get the nods of their supporters.
“The issue at hand in Ogun State are fundamental, it’s not an issue that could be glossed over by just two people. There should be a stakeholders’ forum to that effect.
“Governor Daniel and Senator Kuye could not speak the mind of everybody. May be what they just did was to highlight the bone of contention, while every stakeholder would now make their contributions after the submission of their reports,†the source hinted.
Meanwhile, Daniel and Kuye will today submit the outcome of their meeting to President Goodluck Jonathan at Aso-Rock, Abuja with the National President of the PDP, Dr. Ekwesilieze Nwodo, in attendance.
