Several people were injured as theye scampered into safety after which 9 people including a student of Lagos State University were taken to the station and later transferred to Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Ikeja, Lagos.
According to Oba Timson, “the DPO, CSP Ibrahim Fashesan, was specially hired with his team to ensure my life was terminated and my palace burnt down. He is being used by a retired police officer.
“These policemen almost killed me in my bedroom while I was asleep. See the damage done by the bullets,†he pointed at bullet-riddled windows in his house.

“I asked the DPO to tell me exactly what had happened and he never listened to me. He ordered his boys to beat up people in the palace, including a foreigner from Paris, Mr. Vincent Jasper. The young man was bleeding profusely.
“My driver, security guards, a Lagos State University (LASU) student and others were arrested. “What I learnt was that some hoodlums caused mayhem at Ilaje and that the policemen suspected that the hoodlums might be from the palace.
“The DPO also lied that those arrested attempted to snatch guns from him and other policemen and that they were also beaten.â€
