Bank Appoints Kunle Oyinloye MD/Ceo
The Board of Urban Development Bank of Nigeria Plc (UDBN) has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Adekunle AbdulRazaq Oyinloye as their new Managing Director/CEO, replacing Ag. Managing Director/CEO, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Oyinloye will take over the leadership of the Bank from Mallam Kabir M. Yari, who has been filling the position since the passing of Hakeem Olamide Sanusi in February this year.
Oyinloye was at some point the Executive Director, Corporate Banking-Unity Bank Plc, and moves from his last position as Executive Director, Lagos and South-West at Unity Bank Plc, to call the shots at the Specialist Infrastructure Bank and the country’s premier Development Finance Institution. At Unity Bank, he was responsible for almost all the landmark infrastructure put in place in recent times.
Oyinloye is a graduate of Economics, Ahmadu Bello University (1988) and also holds two post graduate degrees in Banking & Finance, University of Ibadan (1997), and Economics, University of Lagos (1999). He has attended various infrastructure finance training programmes in major institutions, most notably the Development Bank of Southern Africa.
