Okada Rider Crushed To Death
A commercial motorcyclist popularly known as okada identified as Daniel was crushed to death by a blue Mitsubishi truck with registration number XS 700 LSR this morning.
The late Daniel was riding his Bajaj motorcycle number QV 125 AGL along Agege Motor Road, Mushin Lagos, South West Nigeria, when he was crushed by the truck.
The corpse of the okada rider has been deposited in a mortuary while his bike and the truck that crushed him have been detained at Olosan Police Station, Mushin.
Contacted, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO of the Olosan Police Division, DSP Kayode Ojaleponwa told P.M.NEWS that he had not been briefed about the accident but witnessed it on his way to the office this morning.
Ojaleponwa confirmed that the driver of the truck was being held at the Olosan police division. But he directed P.M.NEWS to the Lagos State Police Command Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, for further information.
