The residents said since the inception of the local government, nothing much has been done in the area of road construction and rehabilitation.
According to them, if roads in the estate are constructed, they could be used as alternative routes to Isolo-Ejigbo road which they say is always congested, thereby reducing the time motorists waste in traffic.
Commenting on the issue, a resident of the estate, Mr. Dele, said “as we all know, the major challenge that we have in this area is road as they are all in deplorable state. Our experience during the rainy season is what we can’t explain. Not a single road can be described as good, the situation is very terrible.
‘‘We are calling on the authorities concerned to do something about the road problem.â€
Some of the roads visited in the community include Taiwo Akinsanya, Hakeem Akiode, Akinbowale Crescent, Peter Ogha, Toyin Adebiyi and Labake Adepoju, among others and it was observed that all them are in deplorable state and need urgent attention.
