The Kogi State Government has reiterated its directive to the immediate past political appointees to return operational vehicles and other government properties in their possession immediately or risk embarrassment.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Ayoade Folashade Arike.

The state government frowned at the flagrant disobedience to an earlier order directing them to hand over all government property in their possession to their various Ministries, Departments or Agencies (MDAs).

The statement observed that some of the former appointees had yet to fully comply with the directive, warning that such disobedience could have dire consequences.

It advised those who have not complied to do so promptly as the present administration would deal decisively with any one found complicit in the act.

The statement reiterated that all former political office holders should return operational vehicle(s) in their possession to their respective MDAs.
